Berthoud Open House and Groundbreaking
Ceremony.

On March 12th 2006 the Berthoud Habitat for Humanity had its Open House for its
first home. In addition to the Open House Ceremony, many blessings were made
upon the family, home, and volunteer organization.
Not only did this event mark the dedication of a new house, but it also
served as an official ground breaking on the 2nd home to be built by the
Berthoud Habitat for Humanity.

Peter Bridgeman, Sharon and Paul Gingerich gave an update
on the Berthoud Habitat Thrift
store and how it was achieving more than we originally hoped. Sharon's
goal is that the store
contribute to building one home a year with its profits. |

| The ground breaking ceremony begins, The ground is
blessed and the specifics of the next home are discussed. In particular
volunteers will be pouring the foundation on their own and even more
will be done by volunteers than the first home. |
